Burladingen - The Labexchange company (Laborgerätebörse GmbH) in Burladingen situated 90 km south of Stuttgart was founded by certified engineer (chemistry) Wolfgang Kuster in the year 1989.

The corporate objective of highest importance was the creation of a so far not existing market in Germany for used laboratoy and analysis instruments.

Users up to then had only the possibility to sell their excessive laboratory instruments directly to an interested person who was known to them.

Thereby the possibilities of selling were very limited for a bidder and the possibilities of acquisition for a potential buyer were much confined, as neither one disposed of sufficient contacts and also instruments to earn the best possible outcome for his interests.

Over the years Labexchange has built up a pool of instruments, which currently comprises about 2,500 instruments at present.

This pool of instruments extending over all user profiles is made available to 45,000 users all over Germany and to about 100,000 users all over Europe via website www.labexchange.com, via the "Newsletter" of Labexchange and via fax and

e-mailings.

Thereby bidders of instruments use the best possibility to sell their instruments the quickest possible and potential buyers can gain from the greatest offer of used laboratoy and analysis instruments.

The purchaser of used instruments does not run a risk at Labexchange, as all instruments are thoroughly checked before delivery by independent service laboratories and are provided with a service report and a functions guarantee.

The functions guarantee is the most comprehensive form of guarantee and is granted by Labexchange by principle on all instruments with at least 60 days.

A prolongation of guarantee is possible against a surcharge of 10% for half a year and of 20% to a full year.

With these guarantees you buy used instruments just as safely as new instruments at Labexchange.

In order to celebrate the 15-year anniversary properly Labexchange grants all customers a jubilee rebate of 15% on all approximately 500 stock instruments until January 31st, 2005.
