Documentations with depictions and technical characteristics are available for all units, which are available. Any question concerning an appliance or unit can be clarified via our staff members. Photographs can be looked up for many units and instruments on these internet pages.

I am interested in the configuration of a unit

The exact configuration respectively the to-be-arranged combination of a unit, per example of a gas-phase chromatograph, can be interrogated via our staff members, unless already completely written in the text of the offer.

In which state are the offered used appliances and instruments ?

Each unit is in a technically and optically perfect state upon delivery. After you will have ordered a unit from us, we shall order it from the tenderer and then have it checked in one of our independent service laboratories, respectively overhauled. Thereafter it will be supplied to you.

Do I take any risk ?

Kann man die Geräte besichtigen ?

Meistens können sie dort jedoch nicht mehr in Betrieb vorgeführt werden, da sie nicht mehr im Einsatz sind. Ausserdem erhalten Sie vom Anbieter, welcher über die Laborgerätebörse das Gerät veräussert, direkt keine Garantie.

Da die Laborgerätebörse die Geräte nach Bestellung überholt und mit Gewährleistung liefert, braucht man Geräte nicht beim Anbieter zu begutachten, da der technisch und optisch einwandfreie Zustand nur von der Laborgerätebörse garantiert wird.

Welche Sicherheiten habe ich beim Kauf eines Gebrauchtgerätes ?

Alle Gebrauchtgeräte sind garantiert in technisch und optisch einwandfreiem Zustand und von der Laborgerätebörse überprüft, bzw. überholt.

Die Gewährleistungsdauer beträgt 60 Tage ab Anlieferungsdatum. Eine Garantieverlängerung ist möglich. Gegen einen Aufpreis von 10% erhalten Sie 6 Monate Gewährleistung, gegen einen Aufpreis von 20% eine Gewährleistung von 1 Jahr.

Sie haben also die komplette Sicherheit, daß Ihr Gebrauchtgerät von der Laborgerätebörse einwandfrei funktioniert.

Wie kommt das Gerät zu mir ?

When buying a used analysis unit at Laborgerätebörse you do not take any risk at all, as all units are completely verified and you will have a 60-days warranty.

Can the units be inspected ?

If desired, the units can be inspected at the tenderer, where they remain as a rule until they are purchased by Laborgerätebörse. Mostly they can there no longer be shown in operation, however, as they are no longer in use. Also you would not directly receive a guarantee from the tenderer who sells the unit via Laborgerätebörse. As Laborgerätebörse overhaul the units after order placement and supply them with warranty, the units need not be appraised at the tenderer's, as the technically and optically perfect state is guaranteed by Laborgerätebörse only.

What can I do, if my unit does not function ?

If a unit does not function perfectly for some reason, Laborgerätebörse are responsible within the period of warranty to bring about the functioning state.

Either the unit will be repaired in the customer laboratory by order and to the account of Laborgerätebörse or the unit is picked up for repair to the charge of Laborgerätebörse and be delivered back functioning and free of charge.

Who carries out the customer service for used units ?

All units can be serviced respectively be taken care of or be repaired by the respective manufacturer's after-sale service.

Are there spare parts available for my used unit ?

Laborgerätebörse sell units only, for which the supply of spare parts is warranted. If in a case the manufacturer respectively seller of the unit has no spare parts available any more, Laborgerätebörse could procure still any part in the past due to their business relations on a world-wide scale.

Can used units be leased ?

Used units an be leased or bought by hire-purchase, depending on what is best suited with regard to taxes. Via our capable leasing partners or via a leasing company of your choice units can be leased from a sales value of about 10,000.- EURO onward.

Can used units be rented for a time period ?

Used units, which are in our stock and are owned by us, can also be rented for a certain period of time. Please ask us what the conditions are for renting.

Which guarantee do I receive when buying a used unit ?

With used units you receive a minimum warranty of 60 days from the date of delivery onward. For a surcharge of 10% the warranty can be prolonged to 6 months and for a surcharge of 20% to 1 year.

With new units the respective warranty of the dealer respectively manufacturer is applicable.

Who verifies respectively overhauls the used unit before it is delivered ?

Before the unit is delivered to you, it is completely checked over, respectively overhauled or repaired. Laborgerätebörse co-operate with a big number of independent service companies and also with many manufacturers concerning overhauling of the units. These companies are mandated at the charge of Laborgerätebörse to verify respectively overhaul the units.

Thereby a loyal and independent status of the unit is established, which is documented in a service report and which confirms the full workability of the unit.

Where does a unit come from ? Where was it deployed before ?

Units are mainly offered us in Germany, however also from other European and non-European countries. They originate from analytical laboratories of any branch, as f.i. of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, from private research laboratories, from dealers, from auction sales and liquidations of companies and also national laboratories.

Why does someone sell a unit ?

II. I would like to offer my unit for sale

How do I offer appliances/units ?

To-be-sold appliances/units are always of an interest for Laborgerätebörse.

The used respectively not used appliances/units should be offered with indication of the manufacturer, the model and year of construction, at best with a copy of the original invoice. Thus the exact present market value of the unit can then be stated by Laborgerätebörse.

Must my unit be functioning ?

In case of used, functioning units Laborgerätebörse can state the exact current market value. If a unit is defective, there should statements be at hand about the amount of the repair (cost estimate) enabling to determine the correct residual value for the defective unit.

What else do I get for my unit ?

Laborgerätebörse keep lists available showing the current market value for the respective types of manufacturers and of units with regard to how old the units are.

If you want to know, what the unit you have is still worth, just call Laborgerätebörse.

Where will my unit remain until Laborgerätebörse has found a buyer ?

After the unit has been assessed by Laborgerätebörse, the bidder can offer the unit to Laborgerätebörse for sale. This is done by signing a contract for sale. Independent from this the bidder can also try in other channels to sell his unit, of course, he must, however, revoke in writing his sales order at Laborgerätebörse, before awarding a contract to another buyer.

Otherwise the unit remains with the tenderer, until Laborgerätebörse have found a purchase order from a buyer and will then have ordered the unit at the tenderer by themselves. The unit will only then be picked up respectively be bought at the tenderer.

If the tenderer must immediately have to bring out his unit due to lack of space, Laborgerätebörse are in a position to store the unit free of costs for the bidder.

After Laborgerätebörse have found a buyer for this unit, the stored unit will be bought by Laborgerätebörse.

Which data/documents will Laborgerätebörse need from me ?

For determining exactly the residual value of a unit Laborgerätebörse require data about the manufacturer, the model, year of construction respectively date of purchase and also the configuration respectively description of the unit from the bidder. The aptest way would be to send a copy of the invoice, as all these data are given on it.

What is favourable for a quick sale of my unit ?

In order to find a buyer as soon as possible we invite tenders in our electronic and in our printed media.

A strong sales promotion are coloured photographs of the unit, depictions from a leaflet and also other technical data.

Send us a coloured photograph or digital image in jpg-format and also the original manuals.

We will copy the most important pages and put them with photograph or depiction of the leaflet into internet or enclose these documents with the written customer offers.

How much do I have to pay for participating in tender ?

The tendering of a unit at Laborgerätebörse is free of charge.

What do I do, if I want get rid of my unit immediately ?

Now and then bidders would like to sell units at once, if possible. Laborgerätebörse can, however, purchase units only, after they have found a buyer for them. This means that an immediate acquisition cannot happen through Laborgerätebörse.

A faster sale is possible due to a lower sales price and is also possible by giving a unit to auction via Laborgerätebörse.

Another possibility for a faster sale is the invitation to tender in the internet with photographs of the units. These photographs can be made available to us digitally in jpg-format, as a normal picture or as a polaroid photograph.

How can I let my unit be sold by auction ?

Laborgerätebörse offer the possibility to tender units at a firm price and also to sell them at auction on-line.

With on-line auction the unit price is quoted by 30% lower than with a normal sale. Thereby the bidder has the chance to dispose his unit even faster.
