Environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015
Labexchange is TÜV certified
Labexchange - Labexchange GmbH has received the DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management certification from TÜV Süd for the first time in July 2022. With the successful implementation and active realization of a standard-compliant and effective environmental management system, Labexchange now makes its responsibility for the environment and people official.
"Our effort has paid off and we are proud to have received the certification. Now we have official confirmation that our environmental management fully complies with international standards. We operate an effective environmental management system and are committed to its continuous improvement," emphasizes Managing Director Dr. Wolfgang Kuster.
The DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 standard sets out criteria for an efficient and effective environmental management system. It provides a framework to help companies assess all significant environmental impacts, develop an environmental policy specifically tailored to the company, and systematically build up its environmental management from this and put it into practice.
Before certification was granted, Labexchange underwent a rigorous evaluation by TÜV Süd auditors. All procedures, programs and practices were put to the test. The written definition of the environmental policy, the examination and assessment of all environmental aspects, the documentation of environmental goals, the implementation and realization of environmental management and the effectiveness of control and corrective measures were evaluated. In order to maintain certification, TÜV Süd will audit compliance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 on an annual basis in the future.
Sustainable management, economical use of resources and protection of the environment are, so to speak, "in the cradle" of the company, if one considers the value added when reusing used equipment. Labexchange even goes one step further. Since mid-2022, the company has been climate-neutral through the acquisition of climate certificates. Ecology and sustainability have always been topic number 1 for Labexchange, which is intensified by the introduction of the environmental management system and climate neutrality.
